San Francisco Association of Realtors® Member Alina Aeby on National Association of Realtors® Team Which Finalized Bilateral Agreement with Dubai Land Department

On March 24, 2022, the National Association of Realtors® and Dubai Land Department signed a bilateral partnership opening educational and business opportunities in the Middle East for 1.6 million Realtors® from the United States. This event took place during 10 days of real estate-focused events held in Dubai at the end of the 2022 Dubai Expo. More than 500 U.S. Realtors® were present in Dubai for this event, with the majority coming from Florida.
The bilateral partnership calls for real estate brokers in both countries to exchange experiences; increase real estate knowledge, qualifying and continuing education; and coordinate cooperation.
The National Association of Realtors® team was lead by the 2022 President, Leslie Rouda Smith, and, notably, it included San Francisco Association of Realtors® member Alina Aeby! (wearing blue and yellow in the photos)
Alina serves as the NAR Global Coordinator for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
"In my position as an NAR Global Coordinator for this region, I oversee relations with 25 bilateral partners in 21 countries," said Alina. "I coordinate the activity of 8 global ambassadors in matters as diverse as promoting and enabling NAR education programs and partners (such as REACH, CCIM, Arello, REBI, IHC), real estate data exchange, events presentations, global affordable housing policies, sustainability, MLS, diversity and inclusion, and relations with local and state Global Business Councils. Unfortunately, these days, we have added relief and humanitarian support for Ukrainian civilians, including our real estate partners in Ukraine."
