Latest Updates to SFARMLS

May 15, 2020

In this unprecedented time, REALTORS® are faced with tracking multiple moving targets (Showings, Status Changes, URLs in remarks) and the Association wants you to know we are here for you.

We have summarized important changes to the SFARMLS system here for reference, and remind you that many of these rules are subject to change as the situation demands. We work closely with the city and state to make sure that our members continue to be in compliance. These changes are current as of May 15, 2020.

- SFARMLS is temporarily allowing hyperlinks in Public Remarks and in Agent-Only (Private Remarks). PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TRY TO USE UNBRANDED MEDIA as these links are going to be included in the data feeds to Brokerages and other vendors, we ask you to please respect your Realtor community and refrain from inserting branded materialsx

- It is still policy to allow an Agent to request to re-add the "New" indicator when bringing a listing back from HOLD status (but be aware that this does NOT affect/reset DOM count, which calculates as normal). Email the MLS Team to request this if you are coming back from HOLD status.

- Scheduling Open Houses and including links in Open House comments is intended for VIRTUAL SHOWINGS and not "In-Person Open House" style showings (which are still not permitted).

- Doing 1:1 Private Showings requires all state and city guidelines to be followed.

Take care and be safe out there.
